Moslem Indian Restaurant with reasonable price and portion. I tried mutton briyani and Nasi goreng ikan bilis. All are nice tastes. The mutton is very tender. This restaurant location very strategis, near with Masjid Sultan. For moslem who's travel to Singapore is better look for hotel around here. Beware, if you pay with visa you will get 10 pct charge, better use cash payment.

Great local find at a reasonable price so close to the mosque. Murtabak was delicious and devoured by the kids. The biryani was flavoursome and the gravy had good spices without being too spicy. Lastly, the Nasi Goreng was also great and loaded with egg. Would definitely come back

I stopped here on my first night back in Singapore. They were located near my hotel and I was about to eat my arm desperate for a bite to eat. I had also heard they did the 'best' murtabak. I had never tried it before so could not compare, but it was good. I had the chicken murtabak. There is a vegetarian option too. Very spicy and I am of Indian origin! The small size was big! I struggled to finish it. I had the Kopi 'O' Ice to drink with it. This was refreshing in the heat but sweet. My bad, should have told them no sugar but it was fine. No frills local canteen like restaurant. Very small with limited seats. Diners were mainly local families. Nice atmosphere. I managed to get a table at the back. Staff were friendly and pleasant. Food and drinks come quickly once you order. Sit down, grab a table and order from the menu. Very cheap. Cool atmosphere. Located just off Arab Street. My small negatives were cleanliness. Floors and tables could be cleaned better. I also think they could have been a little more generous with the chicken filling in the murtabak. Would recommend otherwise.

Tasteless ,Overrated briyani kindly don’t have too much hype and go just we can eat once or twice. Services very slow and not responsive especially indian uncle.

He not even given the tissues which we requested him.
Slow service for briyani itself which the served cold waited for 20 mins to get briyani itself so i did not order anything else and the same comment i heard frm near by person also, slow service and need to improve cleaning the tables its still dirty after cleaning also.

We went here for breakfast at 8am on a Sunday, no crowds no long waits. The outdoor seating is well ventilated, there's a fan so it's not hot. The staff was super friendly and food was quick! Beware of ordering the S, the portion is huge! Reasonable for its price, two people can eat 1 murtabak (S). Not a fan of murtabak but the murtabak here was delicious - meat to onion ratio was good. The dhal was thick and flavourful too. The teh tarik was divine, perfect balance of richness and tea. We had to takeaway the murtabak and he even gave us extra dhal! Highly recommend.
