It was my second time trying to place - the price has increased significantly but fortunately the portion size was reasonable.

We ordered one Maggi goreng with a sunny side up, one Maggi goreng ikan bilis, one kway teow goreng, some fried chicken and a chicken murtabak. The food was served within less than 20 minutes.

Both Maggi goreng was acceptable but the Kway Teow goreng was a little salty. Of all, the murtabak was the best. The fried chicken was too dry - appeared to be pre-fried, reheated upon order.

Food 4/5, service 5/5, atmosphere 3/5
We already had lunch but heard of this place so decided to check it out and try some light ‘snack’. We had the chicken korma and vege murtabak. The chicken korma was good, the dhal that came w the murtabak was great. Btw I don’t expect the presentation to be great but it would be better. Lol. I particularly found it weird that they put fries in the vegetarian murtabak? (Not bad different but just surprised). Overall I’ll definitely return to try other dishes.

The portion were huge! I ordered beef biryani, the meat was juicy and tender, I liked it! Then we also ordered beef murtabak, which also had a huge portion! For drink, I ordered katira, which unexpectedly very nice, it's unique but not too strong.

Apparently, there's also second floor here. I think it's better to pay cash here, since if you use visa/mastercard, there's an additional charge.

My friend recommended this restaurant, and I can say I’m in love with Zam Zam! The first time we entered, the staff greeted us with a smile and suggested we go to the 2nd floor for a more comfortable area with air conditioning. We only waited about 5 minutes before all the food and drinks were served. I could easily communicate with the staff in Malay.

Mutton Lamb Briyani 🌟5/5
The briyani rice was perfect not too sticky and the mutton curry matched so well with it. The lamb was tender and easy to eat.

Chicken Masala 🌟5/5
Definitely the best dish! I loved the masala curry, it was a bit spicy and super delicious.

Deer Murtabak 🌟5/5
The portion was huge, haha! I really liked the dipping sauce, it went perfectly with the murtabak.

Teh Tarik 🌟 4/5
Just right, though a little too sweet for me.

The portions are sooo big, I’d suggest sharing with friends, three meals can easily feed four to five people. They also don’t charge if you want to take away the leftovers. Definitely will come back here!

Located at the main road, you can order and pickup from the roadside in advance. There are 2 floors, with the upper one aircon. It was recommended when we had a tour near this area. Ordered Deer meat mutabak and tulang merah to eat in and take away their famous fish head curry. The roti is crispy since it is freshly made but the mince deer meat very dry. Tulang merah is done well with the meat easily peeled off from the bone. Also the tulang merah(translated red blood in bone) can be easily sip with a straw. The packed fish head curry was told it can only feed 2-3 pax so we bought 2 since we have 6 pax to feed. It was disappointing as we ate the sand feeling in our mouth from the fish stomach area. Thus the cleaning was not done properly. 6 pax managed to finished only one portion and that we don’t have other additional ingredients. So buying 2 was way too much. Overall, food was disappointing due to the high expectations and hype for this shop.
